“Tu jo mila ban gaya mein qaabil”, theme song of the movie explains the whole journey of leads and does leave the required effect. Bajrangi Bhaijaan is very simple movie full of flaws and drama but directed so beautifully that you will happily ignore it and flow with the pace of the movie. Emotional scenes are handled very sensibly, not at all preachy. A journey of a simple guy (Salman Khan) with a large and loving heart from India to Pakistan for an adorable little girl (Harshali) stranded in India, who can’t speak but she definitely steals the heart of all the audience with her charm and innocence.
Adding to it, again an awesome performance of Nawazuddin Siddiqui, an aspiring reporter in search of news. He is definitely an effortless actor. Movie subtly shows the stormy relationship between two countries and mental block that still exist, when it comes to religion, very predictable but presented in a very unpredictable way. And not to miss the arial view of Pakistan occupied Kashmir like never before..simply breath taking and spectacular!!
Overall its a heart touching and entertaining movie. If you think its over the top but still ready to ignore it, you will love it and might feel overwhelmed. This is undoubtedly Salman khan career’s best performance so far.
Observing so many people getting emotional after watching this movie, I felt that people still want to believe in the goodness of the heart but I guess our faith gets shaken by looking at the artificiality of the world and we go back to the artificial world..we are slaves of the society. The movie do provides us with a kind of catharsis…well but if that is what is needed…that’s the reason why you should watch this movie. I must say it is one of the must watch movie this year sans the histrionics of Salman Khan.
